PC
In computer science, "PC" commonly refers to "Personal Computer." A personal computer is a general-purpose computing device designed for individual use. It is intended to be operated by one person at a time and typically consists of hardware components such as a central processing unit (CPU), memory (RAM), storage (hard drive or SSD), and input/output devices (keyboard, mouse, monitor). Personal computers can run a variety of operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, and are used for a wide range of applications, including productivity tasks, internet browsing, gaming, and multimedia consumption. The term "PC" can also differentiate non-Macintosh computers from Apple computers, particularly in the context of operating systems and software compatibility.
